who here remembers picking teams to play dodgeball?

This past weekend I participated in squad wars. This is all the different squads competing against each other with small yard games. As my squad began to pick players for each event they would analyze each persons skill that would fit best.

The lord showed me a crowd of people and I was standing all the way in the back. As he called people up I noticed they were laying a gift down for him. The moment came where my name was called upfront. I felt the spot light hovering over me. As I got closer to the lord I noticed I brought nothing. No gift. No skill. Nothing. I began to ask lord why would you pick me to be in your team? For I have no skill to bring you.

The lord has been laying on my heart to just submit. All the lord wants is a player who gives 100%. A dedicated player that will fight for their team( body of the church) and the coach(God).

The lord does not expect a skill from you or a gift. All he wants is 100%

submit

  7. Interesting for the Lord to speak to you in terms of an athlete, which is what the Lord led me to see in you from the first. We can both now see He was referring to spiritual athletics, abilities drawn from Him: the power to soar, run without weary and walk without fainting. He is revealing to you as someone who is playing on His A-Team!
