The first week of training camp is over! It has honestly been a rough start. I can already see the lord working in me and through me. The more I surrender and allow him to clean all the dirt out the more he can comes out.

I was woken up at 4am one morning to the sound of the rain. The  only thing I had to do is read my Bible in my tent. All of a sudden this drip of water from the top of my tent kept hitting me. I placed my bible down and felt where it was leaking from. As I felt around nothing was wet and the leaking stopped. I was very confused. I began to ask the lord what was going on.

The lords voice said Rachel listen.I don’t want you to read right now. Listen to the sound of the crickets. Listen to how loud they are. I replied yeah lord they keep me up I know how loud they are haha. The lord said Rachel if they are so loud go out and find one bring one back to me. I said lord how can I find one? The crickets are so small. The lord replied Rachel Rachel you cry out to me and even in the darkness I can find you. Even though I am great and mighty and Rachel you are small I can and Will find you.

The lord hears your cry.

  1. Rachel, my angel, When we decide to give God our lives He brings us forward one baby step at a time. Trust God and check your tent for holes. Be objective, thoughtful and aware. His wisdom and understanding will come as your heart remains open. So glad you are writing things down. Hang tough. More challenges will follow. Keep your feet dry and wear clean sox as often as you can. Love you, AC….Love to MA

  2. Very true words Rachel. That’s such a big part of our journey. Learning to listen to God. Praying do this sweet time for you all.

  3. As a boy we used crickets to fish with. Maybe the Lord is using crickets for you to
“ go to” his Line as well.

  4. Rachel
